Choose a Phlebotomy Certification
Course That’s Right For You
Many phlebotomists who are practising right now DON’T have phlebotomy certification! Instead they’ve learnt on the job… We don’t believe that’s the best way in. Do you?
Our job is to change the process in which medical practitioners get started in phlebotomy by providing specialised training modules that will give you the essential skills to become an outstanding phlebotomist from Day 1 of your new job.
Maxis offers a certification in phlebotomy made up of theory, dry-lab and live practice.
Our Phlebotomy Certification programme will give you the core-competency skills to go out there and start looking for a job in phlebotomy – the same day you pass our course.
To start off you must evaluate your current skills – This is simple –

Students Pass first time!
Essentially, the course is made up of two parts.
Part I is classroom theory and dry-lab experience (this is the bit where you opt to take the 1 day or 2 day) – really this involves following and learning the basics from the course material, followed by role playing and using mannequins to get used to the methodology to take bloods.
Most students love this part because they get used to handling the equipment and understanding how to deal with the patients. Once you complete the theory and dry lab you will be awarded a certificate of attendance.
Part II of the course, which is optional but taken up by 80% of students, involves spending time inside a real phlebotomy department within an NHS Medical facility or Hospital or Medical Clinic, where you’ll be supervised by experienced phlebotomists who will help you to take blood from approximately 20 to 100 genuine patients.
You’ll walk out of there with an air of confidence, asteady hand, the procedure remembered and a smile on your face !
